The Setting

Nestled in the Kingdom of Fife, Myres Castle is set in 44 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands. It is only 40 minutes north of Edinburgh and is 4 miles away from a main line station.

There are stunning formal gardens with roses, formal ponds, breathtaking borders and a Maize. The ‘barnquee’ is set at the bottom of the walled garden and with the beautiful rustic apple store it makes for an amazing party space that your guests will be blown away by!

The Vibe

Myres offers an exclusive venue like no other.

It will all be yours for the weekend. The ancient and luxurious castle makes for a wonderful house party feel for your nearest and dearest, they also have the fabulous Tartan Lodge House for 4 more guests.

They love looking after their guests and their aim is for you to have the wedding of your dreams, the way you want it, a relaxed vibe but with attention to detail.

The weekend will start with your wedding parting arriving at Myres on the Friday afternoon. Usually fizz on the terrace and relaxed evening meal, time to feel at home before the big day. You can chose where you want to get married, in the cosy Apple store with its beautiful stained glass window, under the ancient Copper Beech, amongst the roses or under the gorgeous stretch tent on the hidden lawn. Then the drinks reception in the Vatican Garden with its roses and formal pond, followed by the meal and dancing in the unique Barnquee, a rustic marquee with larch posts, an oak dance floor, stone walls and a rustic bar.

They try to include it all, tables, chairs, dressers, gorgeous loos, sound systems etc. You are able to dress the place just as you please, this is your weekend!
