Lanwades Hall is an exclusive hire country house wedding venue set in 120 acres of gardens and parkland. Located close to Newmarket, and easily accessible from the A11 and A14. A beautiful events venue in Suffolk’s rich countryside, which has welcomed King Edward VII as a guest offering privacy and exclusivity where you can hold your event. Its beautiful entrance, flanked by mirrored gate houses with striking wrought-iron gates gives an idea of what is about to come: a grand mansion, sittting proudly at the end of a sweeping tree-lined driveway.
Lanwades Hall has two rooms licensed for ceremonies, depending on your theme or number of guests. The Council Room is a large wood-panelled room, often better suited to winter weddings than the light, bright Morning Room, which is most popular in spring and summer. Inside you’ll also find the Old Library, a beautiful space for the bridal party preparations on the morning of the wedding, and the Common Room, a comfy lounge perfectly suited to the evening bar area. The house overlooks the secret Sunken Garden, a beautiful walled garden.
Lanwades Hall is a dry-hire venue, meaning couples can source their own suppliers or choose from the venue’s recommended list. This gives you the freedom to create the day you’ve always dreamed of, however the team can help if you need some guidance or direction.
