About

The Setting

A 19th-century beauty meets the London of today: that’s what you’ll find at Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel.

From the outside, the landmark building, which occupies a full block along the eastern side of Russell Square in Bloomsbury, looks every bit the part of grande dame. Inside, though, contemporary interiors beckon the discerning couple to settle in and stay a while – Negroni (or two) in hand.

The Vibe

Thankfully, Kimpton Fitzroy London’s beautifully restored event spaces promise to fulfill your dreams. Whether you’d like to host 220 guests in the ballroom or move among uniquely designed rooms, they’ll gamely help with every aspect of planning – from food to flowers to every detail in between.

Here’s your chance to throw the wedding of the year: as part of an £85 million refurbishment, the original ballroom at Kimpton Fitzroy London has been restored to its original splendour. Today the grand event space, which has a private entrance on Bernard Street, boasts original architectural details, a full wall of windows, and a mezzanine gallery.

Just imagine: up to 200 guests, all mingling below the soaring ceiling. Palm Court is the heart and social hub of Kimpton Fitzroy London, and features a soaring glass ceiling that floods the room with light; comfortable clusters of seating; and lots of gorgeous greenery. Its easy breezy ambience makes it a magical backdrop for reception drinks; and it’s right next door to the Ballroom, so you and your guests are a just a hop and skip from dinner, toasts, and dancing.
