The Setting

Court House Farm is an enchanting period Medieval and Tudor country house in a magical setting and the epitome of English vintage romance, nestled in a conservation area on the coast in North Somerset near Bristol.

A hidden gem overflowing with history, its charming and eccentric appearance makes for the perfect wedding celebration of all types and sizes. Its romantic heart and history lend beauty and gravity to an occasion of thoughtfulness and sensitivity, as well as being wonderful for lots of fun and laughter.

The Vibe

The original medieval manor house at Court House Farm was built in 1359; it was the perfect place for newlyweds to spend a romantic wedding night. This intimate manor house has three ensuite bedrooms, a super king bed in the main room, luxury linen sheets, your own tub and fluffy white towels.

The Tudor manor house next door was built in 1525 and exudes a beautiful romantic atmosphere with its eccentric vintage styling, open fires, and high ceilings. Its five bedrooms are a great place for your family and loved ones to stay.

Outside are extensive gardens and outbuildings filled with vintage charm, plus a Grade I listed church next door, the perfect backdrop for those precious wedding photos. Court House Farm is built for romance and has been home to love, laughter, and shared delight for over 600 years.

They can only host wedding ceremonies with a celebrant while waiting for their wedding license. However, if you want a church service, the beautiful St Peter’s church is perfectly placed through their arched garden doorway.

Court House Farm boasts several special areas for you to use throughout your wedding, such as the lovely old ramshackle Stables, the central courtyard with the Cow Shed for gathering in and the Open Barn as a great place to have a service or your chef creates to their hearts delight.

Every wedding celebration should be unique, and at the Farm, there is the possibility of bringing your elements together to make the wedding an original and magical event with an atmosphere all of its own.

Whether your requirements are modest or more, they can recommend several local caterers (from vintage food vans to fine award-winning chefs), experienced suppliers and staff who they are happy to pass on to you – whatever your heart desires.
