Bradbourne House is surrounded by twenty acres of grounds and parkland, offering a stunning backdrop for wedding celebrations. The estate features a tranquil lake, a cascading waterfall, and a charming fruit orchard. These picturesque settings provide a perfect space for al fresco drinks, lawn games, and unforgettable photography, all within complete privacy.
Bradbourne House offers a choice of beautiful ceremony spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Couples may exchange vows in one of the elegant period rooms or within the estate’s expansive grounds. During the summer months, the Great Hall Steps and the Hatton Fruit Garden provide two distinctive outdoor settings.
The Hatton Fruit Garden, with its secluded atmosphere and views over the orchards, evokes the charm of a secret garden. Meanwhile, the Great Hall Steps present a striking location, offering uninterrupted vistas of the estate with the house as a grand backdrop.
The Great Hall is a grand space inside, featuring historic paintings, ornate turquoise walls, and a striking marble fireplace.
The Great Hall provides a grand setting for receptions, featuring historic paintings, turquoise walls, and a marble fireplace. This space accommodates up to 100 guests with round or banquet-style tables.
The Great Hall opens onto the lawn, offering a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor celebrations. After the wedding breakfast, it transforms into an evening reception space for music and dancing.
Although there’s no accommodation onsite, the dressing room and terrace provide a comfortable space for couples to prepare for the day. It is designed with natural tones and offers a relaxed setting with views over the grounds.
BaxterStorey, the in-house catering team, works closely with couples to design a menu that reflects their vision. There are curated menus to choose from, along with the option for a bespoke dining experience. A food tasting is included in all wedding packages unless stated otherwise.
The Twisden Bar, located at the heart of the house, offers a full selection of beverages, including draft and bottled beer, locally sourced wines and spirits, homemade cocktails, and alcohol-free options. Corkage is available for still wine (£15 per bottle), sparkling wine (£20 per bottle), and champagne (£30 per bottle).
Bradbourne House is owned by The East Malling Trust, a charity supporting East Malling Research Station, which has worked with UK fruit growers since 1913. The estate spans 500 acres and includes orchards, crop trials, and vineyards that grow British produce, including apples, pears, cherries, and strawberries. By hosting an event at Bradbourne House, couples contribute to preserving the historic manor and supporting horticultural research.
Bradbourne House is accessible by car and train. Free parking is available on-site, allowing guests to leave their vehicles overnight. The nearest train station is East Malling, which is on the Victoria Line and a ten-minute walk from the venue.
Everyone at Bradbourne House was so helpful. Sydnee, the Events Manager, took every detail from start to finish, and it was the best day of our lives.

I cannot thank the incredible staff at Bradbourne House enough. I have severe food allergies, and they went above and beyond to cater to me, allowing me to totally relax and enjoy my special day. All the staff are amazing, and we had the most incredible day.

We wanted to say thank you for all the time and effort you put into making our wedding day so wonderful! We really appreciate how communicative you’ve been throughout the entire process. You’ve been so lovely, patient, and accommodating with us.
We had an absolutely magical day, and we’re so glad it all ran smoothly. Between you and Michael, we felt taken care of, and everything was in good hands. All the rest of the staff on the day were so helpful as well.
All our family and friends commented on how stunning the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food. We’re so glad we chose a venue that is as beautiful outside as it is inside. That definitely made up for the rain and wind!
