About
Setting

Set within 6,250 acres of private countryside, Bespoke at Secret Garden Party offers one of the most creative and cinematic wedding settings in the UK. Known for its iconic festival roots, the estate opens just a few times a year for weddings that are imaginative, immersive and completely individual.

The landscape is vast and varied, with lakes, ancient woodland, wildflower meadows and artfully weathered structures. It’s a setting that invites creativity, freedom and personal expression – where nothing feels restricted and everything is possible. Whether you’re dreaming of something elegant and understated or bold and theatrical, the space adapts to reflect your vision.

Secluded, flexible and completely private, it’s a venue like no other.

Ceremony

There’s a ceremony spot here for every kind of couple. From the Georgian barn to a lakeside amphitheatre or a tucked-away woodland glade, each setting is full of atmosphere and natural beauty.

Celebrant-led ceremonies are welcome and ideal if you’d like to move between spaces, include personal elements, or create a more relaxed, non-traditional flow to the day. Whether you’re looking for something spiritual, romantic, or completely unique, the landscape provides the freedom to create a ceremony that’s truly yours, supported by a team that knows how to make it all happen.

Reception

Receptions at Bespoke at Secret Garden Party are anything but formulaic. You might choose to host a relaxed meal beneath the trees, set up food trucks around a fire pit, or transform the lakeside into a black-tie celebration with cocktails, florals and a dancefloor under the stars.

The site is a blank canvas with space to be bold, but you’ll also have access to trusted suppliers and an experienced team to guide you through the process. Whether your vision is laid-back or luxurious, creative or classic, every detail can be tailored around you, from the flow of the day to the final farewell.

Accommodation

While there is no permanent accommodation on site, Bespoke at Secret Garden Party is ideal for couples looking to extend their wedding across the weekend. The estate offers expansive space for glamping setups, bell tent villages and campervans, giving guests the rare chance to stay right at the heart of the celebration.

Whether you opt for luxury yurts with real beds, firepits and festoon lighting, or a bring-your-own-tent approach, the atmosphere can be as elevated or as laid-back as you like. It’s a chance to create your own private wedding village, where guests can gather and relax.

Additional accommodation is available nearby in Cambridge and the surrounding villages, including boutique hotels, countryside B&Bs and larger options for group bookings.

Food & Drink

Food and drink are central to the experience at Bespoke at Secret Garden Party. They work with a handpicked selection of exceptional caterers and bar teams. Trusted, talented people who bring creativity, flexibility and attention to detail to every celebration.

There are no set menus or standard formats. Every wedding here is different, and the food should feel personal. Whether it’s a festival-style feast from food trucks, roaming canapés at golden hour, or a long table dinner beside the lake, the experience is entirely yours to shape.

The team will guide you through the process and connect you with the right people. No corkage, no hidden rules, no fuss. Just food and drink that feel generous, relaxed and completely in tune with your day.

Sustainability

Bespoke at Secret Garden Party is rooted in the landscape, and sustainability is at the heart of how the estate is managed. They encourage the use of local, seasonal suppliers and offer thoughtful guidance on how to make choices that low impact. From natural confetti to foam-free floristry and composting loos, every detail can be tailored in a way that aligns with your values.

They work with trusted caterers and suppliers who prioritise sustainability, and we are always happy to recommend those who share this ethos. By hosting a limited number of weddings each year, we protect the land, reduce build and breakdown demands, and preserve the wild, natural character of the estate for future celebrations.

Local Area

Located just outside Huntingdon and under an hour from Cambridge, the local area offers plenty for guests who want to make a weekend of it. Surrounding villages are full of character, with local pubs, farm shops and places to explore. The countryside is peaceful and open, with scenic walking routes and nearby nature reserves. Accommodation options range from boutique hotels and stylish bed and breakfasts (B&Bs) to cosy pubs with rooms and larger hotels suitable for group bookings.

Getting There

Bespoke at Secret Garden Party is under an hour from London by train, making it easily accessible for guests travelling from across the UK. The nearest station is Huntingdon, with direct trains from London King’s Cross in under 50 minutes. The estate is approximately 15 minutes from the station by taxi, and is conveniently located near both the A1 and A14 for those arriving by car.

FAQs
How much do couples typically spend?

To give you a steer on investment, most of our couples spend around £17,395, including VAT, for 50 guests. That includes exclusive use of the land, a marquee or tent structure, a sit-down feasting wedding breakfast, full infrastructure, a dry-hire bar, lighting, security, and curated street food catering in the evening. It's designed to provide you with a comprehensive and elevated foundation, with the flexibility to personalise every detail.

Do you charge corkage?

No, we don't charge corkage. You're welcome to supply your own drinks, which allows your budget to stretch further without compromising on quality or choice. If needed, we can recommend trusted bar teams to manage service on the day.

Can we use our own suppliers?

We work with a carefully selected list of suppliers who share our values, deliver exceptional service, and are familiar with the venue. In some cases, we may allow external suppliers, but this must be discussed at the enquiry stage and will be subject to approval. A small management fee may apply to cover additional coordination.

Do you offer event management?

Yes, we do. Our couples receive full support with all the suppliers we provide, including regular planning check-ins and expert guidance throughout. We're also on site the day before and, of course, present on the wedding day itself - ensuring everything runs smoothly, calmly, and exactly as planned.

Can we hold a legal ceremony on-site?

Not at the moment. Most couples handle the legal formalities separately and often hold a symbolic ceremony or blessing on the same day. These often become the most meaningful and memorable part of the celebration.

What happens if it rains?

The marquees we recommend are beautifully designed and fully weather-ready. If you'd like to add extra covered space, walkways or contingency plans, your supplier can advise on the best options. We'll ensure the site infrastructure is ready to support whatever the weather brings.

Can the party go on late?

Yes, the celebration can continue as late as you like. Amplified music needs to finish by 23:00 in line with our sound management plan, but from there you're welcome to switch to acoustic sets or a silent disco. We'll help you design a flow that keeps the energy going while staying within our guidelines.

Can we add personal or DIY touches?

Absolutely. Many of our couples bring their day to life with personal details - from florals and signage to playlists or favours. We'll always guide you on what works well and where professional input makes a difference.

Is there accommodation on-site?

The estate offers glamping only, with space to create a bell tent village for you and your guests. It's ideal for weekend celebrations and keeps everyone close to the action. We can also recommend excellent local hotels, inns and private rentals nearby.

Can we bring pets?

Pets, including larger animals, may be welcome for part of the day, but this must be agreed in advance. For the safety and comfort of all guests, animals are not permitted to stay overnight or roam the site unattended.
