We are happy to offer virtual show rounds, as well as in-person show rounds. We use Commercial ULV fogging at Alexander House between all bookings, and follow all the up to date cleaning protocols.
The Setting
Set high in the Ochils, in the very heart of Scotland, just 3 miles off the A9, and from Gleneagles and Auchterarder, 1 hour from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, just 2 hours from Inverness and Aberdeen, you couldn’t ask for a more central location for your guests.
Gleneagles train station has direct trains from London Kings Cross, and both Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee airports are just 1 hour away. They are happy to arrange helicopter landings at Alexander House too. There’s plentiful local accommodation to suit all budgets; Duchally Country Estate (1.7 miles away), 5* Gleneagles Resort (3 miles away) to lovely local B&Bs in Blackford, Auchterarder and Dunning, all just 3 miles away.
The Vibe
Alexander House has a vibe that’s entirely it’s own, they like to do everything with just a little twist. The magnificent views have to be seen to be believed, and it feels like you are in a world of your own, whilst being only 2.5 miles from the nearest town, Auchterarder.
With a traditional exterior, contemporary country interiors, and their utterly luxurious glamping with ensuite bathrooms and wood fired hot tubs, there’s something here for everyone, it’s the Magic of Alexander House! The main house and their glamping offer the perfect setting for elopements and intimate weddings, their orangery is the perfect party venue for up to 60, and for something a little bit larger, their summertime Traditional Pole Marquee is ideal for that ceilidh for up to 120, with ample space for seating, dancing and your bar.
They also offer catered accommodation for up to 30 guests, including a very special traditional honeymoon suite, or for your honeymoon with a twist, why not stay in one of their ensuite yurts with roll top bath, cosy wood burner and wood fired hot tub on the deck for stargazing!
