About

The Setting

Considered by Country Life to be the most beautiful house in England, the history of Brympton House starts in the 13th century, when the land was purchased by the D’Evercy family. The Grade I listed house is set in 33 acres of stunning parkland with a magnificent lake that perfectly mirrors the South Front – all in a stunning backdrop for your very special day.

The Vibe

Say your vows in a stunning medieval manor house, sip Champagne on an elegant terrace and dine in Elizabethan grandeur. At Brympton House in Somerset, your wedding will be unique and unforgettable.

This great house with its exquisite Tudor front stands majestically amongst 33 acres of parkland. Couples are invited to enjoy exclusive use on their wedding day, experiencing all that a Brympton wedding has to offer – a breathtaking setting and exquisite dining experience.

At Brympton House, couples can choose to tie the knot in either the beautiful Castle House, within St. Andrews Church or outside on the South Terrace, enjoying views over the lake. Following your ceremony, drinks receptions take place in the imposing Elizabethan Great Hall beside a roaring fire, or on the Terrace and lawn in the summer.

Depending on your chosen wedding style and number of guests, three inside spaces are available for the wedding breakfast, from the whimsical light-filled Ballroom, to the more intimate State Dining Room with its red silk-lined walls.

The Stables have been converted in to a perfectly designed evening function space with a chill-out room, dance floor area and bar – just the place to party the night away. As the sun goes down, serve a feast to your guests, perhaps a hog-roast or giant paella on the courtyard as they watch fireworks overhead and roast marshmallows over the firepit. It’s the dream finale to your most special day.

You and your guests can stay overnight, with 31 bedrooms across the estate. Included within the 31 rooms is a luxurious Honeymoon Suite complete with a kitchenette and its own adjoining dressing room, perfect for getting ready with your wedding party in the morning.
