The Green Celebrates Two New Barn Openings!

Oh we do so love The Green in Cornwall, it pretty much has everything you need; outside and inside ceremony options, beautiful vistas, a lake, marquee, quaint cottages and a big party house! So we think you guys are going to fall just that little bit harder when you see their new beautifully restored barns available for your wedding day celebrations.

It’s been a busy 12 months for the team at The Green, but they’re ready to share all the details of their fantastic new reception rooms.

The Really Rustic Barn

Kate says, “We’re so happy to be sharing a sneaky peek at our latest addition to our collection of lovingly restored barns. We know that some of you want a space that you can style for yourselves and the Really Rustic Barn is a perfect opportunity to do just that.”

Licensed for your ceremony and available for a drinks reception this space is yours to make your own. The room is large and has huge doors opening on to the views. It’s walls are made of brick and tin sheeting so we’re definitely crushing on the industrial vibes. They have provided festoon lighting but the rest of the décor is completely up to you! This barn is a little less glamorous and polished than their other indoor function spaces, but if you are feeling brave and like something with a bit of an edge then we think you’ll kinda love it!

The Really Rustic Barn also provides a lovely background for wedding photos on these rare but inevitable really rainy days.

The Red Brick Barn

This April, The Red Brick Barn opened its doors and brides & grooms have been reaping the benefits of this fabulous new space.

“It’s hard to believe that our Red Brick Barn was once a cow shed” says Kate “The red brick walls and original beams have been lovingly retained but the rest is pure sparkle and glamour!”

The room has a well stocked bar serving local produce, a disco ball and a high-tech sound system. The front of the barn has floor to ceiling bi-fold doors that open fully to views over Kit Hill and distant Dartmoor. The outside is clad in oak and there is oak flooring throughout. It’s all rather lovely.
