Those folks at Iscoyd Park sure know how to throw an event with a twist!

A unique Easter Egg hunt with some unusual prizes will be forming the centrepiece of a special Wedding Open Day at the award-winning Iscoyd Park, near Whitchurch, and all couples searching for a venue for their big day are welcome to attend.

Couples will be invited to follow clues around the stunning 18th Century property and it’s grounds which will lead them to prizes for their wedding day, if they choose to get married there!

The Easter Egg hunt is the brainchild of Phil Godsal, who owns and runs Iscoyd Park with his wife Susie, here’s what he has to say about the days events!

Phil Godsal: Our Iscoyd Park Wedding Open Days have proved an enormous success!

Visitors have enjoyed the formula the open days take of resembling an actual wedding, where they are given champagne and canapés on arrival, and then shown around the house with the opportunity to meet the team.

But we wanted to add something a little bit special this time which ties in with the Easter celebrations and also provides even more fun and excitement.

So… Couples will be given a personalised basket and as they explore the grounds and follow clues, they will come across eggs entitling them to prizes. These prizes will range from free bottles of Champagne to free Macarons with the wedding breakfast, as well as prizes provided by our suppliers.

These prizes will be recorded by the Iscoyd Park team and then awarded if the couple books their wedding here!

Sounds good right…?

Spring also heralds an exciting new programme of refurbishment at this ancestral home with a number of new bedrooms being added to the accommodation for wedding parties.

Earlier in the year the team celebrated the launch of the new Garden Room, a glass-sided dining hall which extends into the garden from the house – just gorgeous!

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, Iscoyd Park is one of my absolute fave wedding venues. Having spent some time there last summer on a shoot, I know just how magical this heavenly location is.

So folks, if you want to attend then give Phil and the team a call on 01948 780785 to reserve your time slot.

Further details of this Event can be found on The Event Diary and you’ll find Iscoyd Park in our Coco Collection here!

Happy hunting…
