What Peggy Did Next – Bridal Bazaar feat. Bridal Boot Sale

Written by Emma Hla
If you’re familiar with our Events Diary then you may have already spotted the Bridal Bazaar feat. Bridal Boot Sale which is taking place on Sunday 29th April at Casterley Barn in Wiltshire. Well today we’re giving you a sneak peek into what to expect at these curated Wedding Shows and a look at the gorgeous ladies behind the event – What Peggy Did Next.

There’s also a chance for any newlyweds out there to win a space at the Bridal Boot Sale if you’re thinking of selling-on your preloved wedding wares.

Notes from What Peggy Did Next

Here at Peggy HQ we plan and style weddings and private events. We like to push the boundaries to ensure extraordinary experiences and whilst being aware of trends we also like to set new ones. We work with a combination of new and experienced, handpicked suppliers to help exceed expectation every time. Clients choose us for our wealth of experience and the highest standard of event management, both in the design and delivery. Most of our bookings come from recommendations, our most powerful marketing tool. On top of event planning, we also offer venue management and communication services to those in the creative industry.

As a wedding service provider in an industry full of such talent, it’s important to remain visual, to showcase your brand and put yourself out there in front of potential clients. This was one of the key reasons why we have curated wedding show, the Bridal Bazaar, a creative wedding marketplace. We want to not only show what we can do, but offer the same opportunity to others and we LOVE every minute of it.

The Bridal Bazaar takes you on a journey, providing ideas and inspiration for each part of your wedding day. You’ll explore styled areas created by teams of the most forward thinking suppliers and leave with plenty of goodies from the marketplace. It’s the only wedding event to combine creative set ups with the bustling chitter chatter of newlyweds selling on their pre-loved wedding items in the Bridal Boot Sale.

We bought you the original Hampshire Bridal Boot Sale a few years back, which has developed into the show that you will find today. Bridal Bazaar is not a ‘wedding fair’ with rows of 6ft tables, it’s an interactive event bringing a fresh approach to wedding planning and a fun filled day out.

We team with stunning host venues, all of which offer weddings. Often the venues we use are new to the industry, allowing visitors to have a sneak peak into their world, seeing styled set ups in situ. April 2019 will see the launch of the first Essex based Bridal Bazaar feat. Bridal Boot Sale at epic new venue The Barns at Lodge Farm, keep your eyes peeled for exciting info on that!

The WPDN Team

To tell you more about the team behind What Peggy Did Next and the Bridal Bazaar feat. Bridal Boot Sale, we have Helen, quite the event genius, having worked for some of the UK’s most exclusive hotel brands from Firmdale (that count the Soho Hotel, Charlotte Street Hotel and Ham Yard amongst their assets) to South Place Hotel and most recently Home Grown Hotels, owners of the critically acclaimed Lime Wood and THE PIG group. Naturally, Helen is the mastermind behind the format and planning of our events.

Next up you have Sarah. When Sarah isn’t planning our client’s marketing campaigns or styling and producing shoots, she is the Global Head of Content at Kingfisher Plc. Sarah cut her teeth in the fashion industry, notably as Editor in Chief of the online trend forecasting portal, MPDClick.com, which was later acquired by WGSN, after working her way up from a journalist and photographer, travelling the world to report on catwalk shows. In 2009 Sarah created the popular style and travel blog Sarah-Leigh’s Style Files, which led to her position of International Contributing Editor at OliviaPalermo.com and Fashion Contributor at LoveMyDress.net.

We then have Karen, with over a decade managing clients and campaigns in PR and social media, Karen ensures the most important and insightful factor of our work, the customer, stays at the heart of everything we do. Karen leads our communications and also acts at Client Director, ensuring customer service is paramount to our extensive and varied network. Karen began her career working in PR in the property and culture sectors and today, she oversees Social Media for B&Q Plc, managing the retailer’s campaigns across the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

The Next Show

Taking the topic back to the Bridal Bazaar, the next show is taking place on Sunday 29th April at stunning new Wiltshire venue, Casterley Barn, a sustainable barn set in the rolling fields of an organic Farm. Visitors are welcome from 11am to 2pm and we advise getting there early to bag lots of goodies in the Bridal Boot Sale! Entry on the day will be available at £2 per guest, tickets are also available in advance (please click here).

We have a couple of spaces left in the Bridal Boot Sale and we are on the hunt for newlyweds who want to reclaim their spare room, or their parents garage! Sell on your wedding items to brides-to-be, whether it be your dress, those shoes you never wore, all those jam jars used as vases or that vintage suitcase you purchased to use as a card box. We are offering one lucky Coco Wedding Venues reader a complimentary space to set up, just email us with what you have to sell and we’ll let you know if you’ve won!

If you can’t make this one, fear not, we’re taking the Bridal Bazaar feat. Bridal Boot Sale back to Somerley House on Sunday 14th October!
