Browning Bros. Wild Wedding Venue

The Brownings Bros. have two wedding venues in Essex – The Water Meadow and The Woodland Orchard. Suited to those who love the great outdoors, both are completely customisable to your requirements. There’s plenty of space at both venues for your guests to stay if they wish. Their 5 metre bell tents can accommodate up to six people, whilst camping and caravan pitches are also available. The venue also offers a log cabin, a converted grain silo and a shepherds hut for guests to stay in!

Cornish Tipi Weddings

Cornish Tipi Weddings is the closest you can get to an outside wedding in the UK. If your heart is set on a woodland wedding, green wedding, wedding by water or perhaps a festival style wedding then you’ve come to the right place. Their tipis are ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends wanting to create that festival feel of celebration and time spent together in the great outdoors.

# 3

Elmore Court

Elmore Court is the 750-year-old Grade II* listed home of the Guise family nestled in a beautiful rural village between the Cotswolds and Bristol. This ancient historical home with views of the River Severn has been renovated into a self-sustainable state-of-the-art Wedding Venue including a biomass heating system and naturally built super marquee, the ‘Gillyflower’. Outside, in full view of the Gillyflower, is a cosy fire pit with paths leading off through the wild meadow to a huge area for boutique camping.

# 4

Godwick Great Barn

Shlamping is the new glamping (obvs) and the folks at Godwick are flying the flag for this brand new style of Shepherd Hut accommodation. A conglomeration of glamping, champers and shepherds, they feel it provides a good description of life in their new huts. Brides and Grooms can either stay in the lovely huts themselves or reserve them for friends and family who they want nearby for their weekend wedding celebrations.

The three huts come with some fabulous mod cons and have lovely design features, such as oak wooden floors, butler sinks and narrow boat wood burners. Hot running water, a mini fridge, microwave, oak work top, loo, shower and of course a lovely double bed.

# 5

H-Coo Events at The Grange

If you are looking for a homely, rustic wedding venue in Somerset, The Cider Orchard at The Grange is the perfect spot. Situated in the picturesque countryside, there are landscaped orchards and stone barns surrounding this pretty 16th Century Grade II listed Farm House. For a wedding with a festival feel there is extra space for camping / glamping options.

# 7

Pennard House

Pennard House is a beautiful, family-owned Georgian Manor House set in secluded gardens and surrounded by meadows, woodlands and cider orchards. For an alternative nights sleep, why not experience Pennard Orchard Tipis… In association with Pennard Orchard, you can have handmade 16ft tipis, complete with the all the home comforts you could need: proper beds, pure cotton linen, warm duvets and quilts, all to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. The venue can also provide beautiful daybeds, tables, cushions and bolsters to make your event a little different.

# 8

Swallowtail Hill

This farm in East Sussex suits couples looking for that laid-back vibe to their day – think traditional canvas marquee, bunting, wildflowers and afternoon tea! Or how about a festival style wedding with Giant Hat tents, bonfires, games, hog roasts, and guitars! Swallowtail Hill is a glamping site so hiring this venue for your event means couples also take ownership of the fab accommodation units! They have four glamping units, each of which sleeps up to four people (double bed and two single bunks). Additionally, if required, tents can be pitched to accommodate further guests.
