Pinterest Peek… The Wedding Dress Shot

Written by Emma Hla
Now, if you’re anything like me then you will be ever so slightly taken with Pinterest.

And yes, by that, I mean completely and utterly obsessed.

I discovered this addictive website just a few weeks before I became engaged and boy was that a blessing!

I pretty much planned my entire day through pinning beautiful image after image onto my various mood boards – you can see my original ideas for our wedding day here!

So with this in mind, I thought I would share with you each week a peek into my Pinterest world…

First up, the Dress Shot.

The Dress Shot

For me, there is something so beautiful about the images below…

A Wedding Dress will, for most of us, be the most extravagant dress we will adorn… Ever.

So much thought, excitement and anticipation is weaved into the delicate fibres – from the moment you first try it on in the Bridal Boutique to the day, where it’s silently, softly, patiently hanging, waiting to be worn…

To be seen by all.

But most importantly… to be seen by him.

So, you see, I can’t help but feel there is a certain level of romanticism about a Wedding Dress waiting to be claimed…

A bit magical, if you will – which is why I have a homage to this simple image, captured in these most precious moments of a girls life.

Have you thought about your own Dress Shot…?

Or for those newlyweds amongst you, then maybe it’s one of your most cherished memories…?

Although my dress is now safely packed away, I do have my golden sequinned bridal jacket hanging up in our guest room as gorgeous little reminder.

Come take a peek at my other Pinterest boards… With over 9,000 pins of Wedding Inspiration (& more!) there’s plenty of pretty to choose from…

Lots of love…
