I grew up in Suffolk on my family farm and decided to open it as a wedding venue in 2013 at the age of 21. I want to live and work in the countryside and having worked in events, I thought it was a natural step to open a venue.

We set-up the glamping site in a secluded area of woodland on the estate, primarily to provide accommodation for weddings. The Glamping site has now grown and can sleep up to 20 guests. We started hosting hen weekends in 2015 which have proved very popular.

I love meeting lots of interesting people and helping them plan their perfect wedding day. As we only host eight weddings per year I have the chance to get to know each and every couple and enjoy spending time with them and seeing their ideas and vision come to life. The hen weekends show another element of the wedding planning journey and it is great to see groups of friends enjoying themselves and celebrating their bride-to-be!

We offer a truly different experience with our Glamping Hen Weekends. It’s hassle-free and ultra luxurious, so if you’re looking for a hen party with a difference you’ve come to the right place!

You don’t have to be an outdoor, adventure-seeking hen to enjoy a weekend Glamping. Imagine early morning yoga, back-to-nature as well as indulgent activities, delicious afternoon tea and marshmallows around the campfire!

We specialise in creating a relaxed, fun environment for you to enjoy with your nearest and dearest.

Our packages are designed for 2 nights for a minimum of 12 guests and a maximum of 20. All packages include a bed and breakfast, pimm’s on arrival, yoga or military fitness and an activity. Our packages start from £180 per person.

Our accommodation includes:

• The Yurt – Sleeps 2, king size bed
• The Shepherd Hut, Sleeps 2, king size bed
• Lodge Tents – Each sleeps 2, air beds

All bedding and bed linen is provided, there are two luxury shower-rooms, additional ‘outdoor’ showers and WC facilities on site.

Advice

My advice for all those tasked with planning a hen party would be to keep it simple and plan ahead, giving everyone lots of advance notice for payment deadlines.

Also delegation is the only way you are going to come out of the experience in tact – allocate everyone a job to do, even if it is to bring food or decorations!
