Brand New Wedding Venue for Sami Tipi

Cuttle Brook at Swarkestone is a NEW stunning site managed by the team at Sami Tipi. The site lies at the end of Cuttle Brook joining the River Trent as it meanders past the historic Swarkestone Bridge. With its panoramic views across the Derbyshire Countryside, this uniquely picturesque, riverside location is perfect to host a relaxed and romantic Sami Tipi wedding.

The guys at Sami Tipi teamed up with Tickety Boo Events and Yvonne Lishman Photography to bring you a little inspiration, beautifully showing off this gorgeous location; join us as we cross over the charming bridge and walk into the large event space complimented by rustic farm buildings and beautiful fields of crops in which to capture the most unique wedding images…

Sami Tipi:

We adopted a rustic look for the shoot to mirror the relaxed surroundings; this was reflected throughout from the styling of the tipis to the style of hair and flowers. The colour palette used was green, white and blush which complimented the silver and wood. A mismatch of candles, garland and flowers created stunning tablescape inside the tipis.

As well as a styling the inside of the tipis we also carried the theme outside, with florals on the bridge to enhance the entrance, haybales with wooden signage and a pale blue wooden boat. The light reflecting from the brook and the stark background of the field gave two contrasting backdrops which worked against the dress and floral crown.

We very much wanted to create a style that couples would want and easily be able to recreate for the own day. The tranquillity of the water, corn fields and surrounding landscape created the perfect relaxed environment a ceremony and wedding celebration.
