Award winning accessories designer Victoria Fergusson has launched the much anticipated new Botánica Collection for 2017. This exquisite collection comprises the most beautiful selection of hand crafted accessories, including hair adornments, jewellery and exclusive dress appliqué embellishments with two talented dress designers; Tara Bradley-Birt and Ailsa Munro.
We of course said yes to sharing this new collection because a) it’s super gorgeous and b) it was shot on location at one of our very beautiful venues – Hatch House in Wiltshire.
It’s always a pleasure writing about Victoria and her treasures so if you want to learn a little more about the lady behind this accessories brand then take a peek here. Otherwise jump straight in my friends and start that bridal wish list! I feel like I need the Seeds of Love Headdress to complete my life.
Oh and if you do fall in love with this collection then Victoria is offering a special 15% discount on any orders placed before the end of the month – simply use code COCO15 valid until midnight Friday 31st March.
Notes from Victoria Fergusson
The Botánica Collection is inspired by lush and exotic botanicals such as ferns, palms and giant water lily. Think Kew Gardens, think Victorian Hot Houses, the architecture as well as the plants themselves have influenced the designs. Brides can choose from delicate hairpin sets, petite combs and unique headdresses, available in gold, rose-gold and silver colour ways with accents of silver shade and white opal crystals.

I’m going to admit I’m a little late to the game with announcing this particular news but sharing is caring and share is exactly what I’m going to do.
When Emmy London opened their gorgeous new flagship boutique last November, I knew it was going to be beautiful. Located on the Fulham Road in the heart of Chelsea, their new space is bigger than ever before and boasts a dedicated ‘Couture Room’ where brides can book appointments with designer Emmy herself to create their very own couture shoes and accessories.
As well as having severe carpet envy, you’ll be wowed by the array of bridal shoes and accessories on offer. It’s a true treasure trove and I dare you not to get over excited. The boutique is luxurious, warm and inviting and once again I could have stayed in Emmy London heaven all day.

When I heard that this particular brand were launching their first wedding collection, I may have been just a bit too excited. I sadly couldn’t attend the recent Press Day (I was gallivanting in a wood taking photos for a new venue!) but the gorgeous Julie Michaelsen Photography popped by to capture the pretty.
“Designed for the modern bride, Whistles Wedding will comprise of seven limited pieces in a range of versatile silhouettes including stepped hems, strapless, contemporary one shoulder and a refined high neck dress alongside a timeless jumpsuit.

Glitter and mirror balls, the glamour of the endless parties of Studio 54 and New York in the seventies, David Bowie and Bianca Jagger riding onto the dance floor on horseback… Glamour and disco are two of the main sources of inspiration for the new Otaduy collection, ‘I Do’.
Otaduy is a new concept of bridal firm that is inspired by music, cinema and art, and specially designed for brides with personality, who really want to be themselves on their wedding day.
For Otaduy, each collection is unique, with its own heart and soul, its own body. In designing them, founder Carolina, takes inspiration from different moments, experiences and even feelings. But always staying true to the character of the brand and its particular sources of inspiration, which can be as simple as drinking coffee from a glass mug, putting on red lipstick to go to the cinema or listening to music while riding a bike on a pleasant spring evening. A brand that is always changing but always true to itself.
I’m kicking off this piece with Otaduy’s film… Because it’s all kinds of epic and after that intro it only seems fitting.
Enjoy this Friday bridal inspo gang!
Notes from Otaduy
Otaduy’s history begins with one of those brides who do not want to be the same as the rest! A friend of mine was worried about finding a dress that truly reflected her personality so we decided that I would design it, as a test, as an adventure! On her wedding day she was radiant and I was filled with excitement at being able to participate in that, so I decided that it was the beginning of another beautiful story, the story of my atelier.
For me, the best part of my job is to be able to create designs inspired by a range of different sources from art and cinema to music. I’ve created my own universe where I can explore and develop my creativity, where I feel comfortable and happy.

If you follow me on Instagram you might have spotted I’m somewhere a little exotic right now, but the diary is bursting at the seams when I get back to Coco HQ! I’m so excited about all of the road trips I have coming up in April and one of these adventures is taking me to the quaint chocolate-box town of Bradford on Avon – home to Perfect Day Bride and now Flossy & Willow.
We adore this Wiltshire based bridal empire and at the helm is Managing Director Laura Shepherd, you may have already spotted Laura’s incredibly helpful 10 Top Tips for Wedding Dress Shopping…? We also teamed up with Laura & Kerry (stylist extraordinaire) on our recent Tropics in the City shoot. So we’re big fans folks.
Laura says “Even before we launched, the reaction to Flossy & Willow had been brilliant but since the first moment on our opening Saturday, we’ve been absolutely astounded. The price point at Flossy & Willow is £900 – £1,500 and this combined with the gorgeous gowns and the level of service that we offer has made us an instant hit!”
Flossy & Willow has a contemporary look and feel – think white brick walls, monochrome rugs, light-up letters, copper touches and oodles of delicious details that quite frankly I want to steal for my own house! Of course, the new studio offers the same fantastic service as Perfect Day Bride. Operating by appointment only you’ll have the studio, the dresses and all the accessories to yourself and your chosen bridal party.
