The Setting

Celebrate your day in style.

Built in 1861, Weston Manor is a beautifully restored manor house near Freshwater on the Isle of Wight.

Steeped in history, Weston Manor is a unique place in which to get married, and is licensed for wedding ceremonies of up to 60 guests. Of course, there’s plenty of space for more arrivals as the celebrations continue…

The Vibe

In line with the bespoke nature of this venue, you are welcome to choose your own part of the house in which to exchange vows. The light and elegant drawing room is a traditional choice, with the banqueting room offering a richer and more sumptuous setting.

When the weather is warm, the arched pillars at the front of the house also provide a grand outdoor setting for that special moment.

A private Catholic chapel forms part of the main house and is available for Catholic weddings, baptisms and blessings. The chapel was re-designed in 1898 and furnished by Edward Goldie and Peter Paul Pugin, and is considered one of the finest private chapels in England.

Post-wedding, tables can be laid throughout the ground floor depending on the size of your party, or marquees can be erected on the lawns.

Downstairs the main hallway leads to a fully equipped kitchen and drawing room that overlooks mature gardens, with panoramic views down to the sea. There is also a lavish cocktail bar with baby grand piano and a banqueting room which seats up to 40 people. The interior features fireplaces throughout and comfortable but elegant furnishings with an eclectic modern twist.

During the summer months the shaded woodland is perfect for camping and cooking outdoors. The lawns are large enough to accommodate marquees of any size.

With 6 separate bedrooms it comfortably sleeps 14, whilst additional accommodation can be found within a few minutes walking distance from the Manor.

Weston Manor House is currently under the ownership and management of Anthony and Cinzia Reckitt (Rex and Cinz). With family businesses on the Island such as Tramezzini and The Smoking Lobster, they’re well connected with the local food scene, produce and suppliers. They also own a pub and restaurant in ‘foody’ East London and have over ten years experience with weddings and events.

A roster of guest chefs from London and the South are available to cook at the Weston Manor, many who Rex & Cinzia have worked with in the past and come highly recommended (subject to availability).
