The Haymeadow provides a new and exciting marquee venue set in a rural, secluded location in the Blackdown Hills. The site is just a mile from the Devon/Somerset border in the parish of Churchstanton near the villages of Churchinford and Smeatharpe, approximately 9 miles from Taunton and Honiton. The site provides you with a beautiful landscape in which to hold your perfect wedding reception.

The Vibe

The Haymeadow is the perfect place to host your wedding and is managed by Gemma Sparks who has a passion for weddings and has worked in the industry for many years. The Haymeadow has been enhanced with wild flower seed to add to its true beauty and provides far reaching views over the hills. There is plenty of space for all of your guests to camp and Gemma has plans to have a luxury shepherds hut on-site which would be a perfect bridal suite for the Rustic-loving couple!

The venue can provide straw bale seating, garden games and plenty of decorations for you to hire and for the cooler evenings a fire pit can be set up to keep you warm. Hire of the site includes the use of the traditional poled marquee, luxury toilets, enough tables and chairs for your wedding breakfast and all the electricity and water you need. All hires are on an exclusive use basis and the venue are very flexible with which suppliers you choose to to work with for your wedding day. Gemma is able to offer you expert wedding planning advice alongside lists of local, recommended suppliers and the ability to build your own wedding package on top of the basic hire price if you wish.
