The Ashes

The Ashes was an amazing venue couldn’t fault anything, our wedding manager Lisa was very helpful, she made the day so easy for us, so we could just chill out and relax, prior to the wedding she was always on the other end of the phone or email if we needed anything answering. She made the day run smoothly advised us on best times etc, the whole set up was spot on, and for a February wedding it was like a hot summer day and the grounds were fantastic and well kept. Thank you for looking after us.

Andy and I fell in love with the Ashes Barns from the very first visit. The venue is charming, rustic and interesting with so much character. We visited during the winter months and loved how special and cosy it looked with the gorgeous lighting and Christmas decorations that were all very tasteful. I knew exactly in that moment that I wanted a winter wedding and I knew we had found our venue. The Ashes teams communication was always prompt and professional, warm and friendly. Nothing seemed too much for any of the team. On the day, we were so pleased to have the full support of Lizzy. She was calm and collected, kept things running smoothly and had a smile on her face until the very end of the night, what a hero! The whole day ran like a dream and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Our guests felt relaxed and had so much fun. The Ashes will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much for everything!

We viewed The Ashes for our wedding in February 2019. It was the only venue we looked at and visited, and we knew it was for us the moment we drove up to it! We booked for February 2022 but, due to covid and other circumstances had to rearrange, and our wedding finally took place on Valentine’s Day this year. Even before the big day, they were brilliant and happy to answer any questions we had, and made sure we’d knew what we needed to do. Lisa, our events manager, was absolutely incredible! Nothing was too much, and she went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and was perfect for us. I think we’ll both be forever grateful for Lisa! The venue itself is gorgeous. I even think that’s an understatement! We had the most amazing and unforgettable day at The Ashes and cannot thank everyone enough for making it happen.

Where do we start! The venue is just beautiful! It was everything and more than we could have wished for to celebrate our special day together at. All of our guests spoke to us about how amazing it is! Even now weeks on they still talk about it. The staff are truly unbelievable, they are the most friendly and helpful people you will meet and are a credit to the ashes barns. From the groundsmen, to the accommodation staff, to the catering team, to the admin team to the events managers and everyone else they made us both feel at ease and we knew the day would go smoothly. The accommodation was so comfortable and presented at such a high standard. The food was delicious. The venue itself is so picturesque and is naturally beautiful. I would recommend this venue and team to everyone who is looking for somewhere to get married and celebrate their day. There are absolutely no complaints. We thank you all so so much for making our wedding a day we will remember and talk about forever!

Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! When we visited the venue we both fell in love with the rustic theme and stunning grounds and knew this was where we wanted to get married. The Ashes team made the planning process easy and stress free and no questions was ever too silly they was more than happy to help with any problems or queries i had. Our events manager Lizzy was amazing she made sure the day ran smoothly, that everything was exactly how i wanted it and was always on hand to help. The Ashes will always have a place in our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for making our day one of the happiest day of our lives!

The Ashes Barns is the most wonderful venue for a wedding. Throughout the whole day it felt like our own little haven. Lizzy was our coordinator and she was fabulous, ensuring the whole day ran smoothly and setting the venue up just as we envisioned; she made us feel extremely at ease and is a truly lovely person. The Ashes entire team of staff have been helpful from start to finish, the team helping us drop our decorations off the day before couldn’t have done more to help, and the same goes for the breakfast team the following morning; everyone was so friendly and kind. From the dressing room, to the accommodation, the presentation of the barns, to the stunning scenery and surroundings it really is the most beautiful place with such a magical atmosphere. I cannot recommend the venue enough, I only wish we could go back and do it all again!!

The Ashes Barn is beautiful but what really makes it an incredible venue is the love and dedication that each member of the staff team put into creating the perfect day. We were in regular contact with all of the staff, nothing was too much for them and they answered tons of random questions I had with no complaints. Helen, our wonderful coordinator, took charge of the day subtly. She was every wear but also so discreet and having her around made the whole day stress free as she handled little issues which did crop up without causing any upset. We couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful wedding, thank you so much Ashes!

Amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who made our special day the best day ever! We couldn’t have done it without you all. We made beautiful memories together that will never be forgotten. We knew from the moment we visited that it would be our special place and indeed it was. We loved every minute of our time at the Ashes and it still brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. We can’t thank you enough for making our special day possible.

Our wedding day was perfect – the day was so well organised. Would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at The Ashes Barn. Everyone was so friendly and all of my guests loved the venue and location.

The Ashes is the best wedding venue there is and we absolutely made the right choice when we booked the venue for our wedding. During wedding planning their communication was on point and professional. Our event manager Helen was fantastic in ensuring everything ran smoothly and was very kind and caring to us thorough out the whole process. Our wedding day could not have been more beautiful and perfect and we have Helen and the rest of the staff at the ashes to thank for that. Everyone did such a beautiful job and I don’t believe our day would have been so perfect if it wasn’t for these wonderful staff members. The food was also incredible and the ashes itself is clean, beautiful scenery and private and we also loved the cows which were a great feature to our day.
