The Setting

Deep in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, Hush sits discreetly at the top of the Yare Valley in the Broads National Park – an area of outstanding natural beauty, and yet is conveniently only a stone’s throw from Norwich.

Hidden down a series of winding tracks, and nestled within a small rural estate, the venue is set entirely outdoors in a series of curated natural spaces. This magical setting not only offers couples the perfect natural backdrop for their wedding but also a very special place to hold their ceremony – in a small perfectly formed secluded woodland.

The Vibe

Wander down through wild and natural meadows to Elderwood, a secluded wood with breath-taking views across the Yare Valley. Tie the knot in The Olde Woodshed, while guests look on beneath a canopy of native trees. Celebrate your union with a drinks reception in a clearing of mature beech surrounded by lush ferns, on the Meadow overlooking the Broads National Park, under the Wishing Tree in the Glade or on the woodland lawn in front of a magnificent marquee. For your wedding breakfast and evening party make use of the purpose designed lawn with the marquee of your choice, relax in the hammocks, or spill out onto the Meadow where a blazing fire awaits you.

Colts Lodge lies adjacent to Elderwood and is provided as exclusive accommodation for the bridal party, or use the 45-foot sitting room as an alternative location for your ceremony. Perhaps you prefer more of a festival feel, so why not invite your friends to join you under the stars with glamping on the Meadow, and guitars around the fire.
