The Setting

Dorney Court is a magical stately home nestled in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. With its fairytale gabled roofs, landscaped gardens and charming 12th Century church, Dorney Court is one of the UK’s most beautiful and complete country house wedding venues.

Dorney is a rural oasis tucked away next to the Thames, a corner of quintessential England, yet the village is just a stone’s throw from Central London and close to Heathrow airport.

The Vibe

Your entire wedding day can unfold on the estate, from the ceremony to late night partying in the perfectly renovated Coach House Barn. The gardens surrounding Dorney Court provide a lovely setting for drinks and photographs whether on lush green lawns or among the many flowerbeds and borders, while their picturesque courtyard, which adjoins the Coach House Barn, is a suntrap where guests can enjoy an almost Mediterranean feel as they celebrate.

The Grounds: Landscaped gardens, open, mature parkland and extensive lawns, perfect for marquees for larger wedding parties.

The Great Hall is an enchanting setting for a wedding ceremony, a memorable banquet or drinks and canapés. Ancient portraits hang on the walls while the magnificent stone fireplace and vaulted ceiling add to the magical sense of timelessness.

The Coach House Barn: A stunning reinterpretation of Dorney Court’s Victorian brewery. Looking out over its own private landscaped courtyard the Coach House Barn is a magical addition to the Estate and an ideal location for your three course meal. Reception drinks can take place within the courtyard or the house lawns provide the perfect backdrop for drinks and canapés.

Service Offer: All aspects of your wedding day will be managed by Absolute Taste, from your initial enquiry, site visits, wedding quotations, right through to your big day! They are your ultimate wedding gurus.

St. James the Less is a delightful flint flecked church located on the Estate, with Norman origins which retains many historic features such as the Tudor tower, medieval wall paintings and stained glass windows. The church favours candlelight, creating a magical, romantic atmosphere for your wedding. Couples may have their ceremony at St. James the Less, on agreement with the Vicar.

* Dorney Court can host 120 guests for a reception, or 500+ guests with an adjoining marquee option on the Grounds.
