Elizabethan Library – The wood panelled Elizabethan Library features a huge fireplace, with wood burner and windows overlooking the gardens. It is a very atmospheric room with a remarkable plaster ceiling and is particularly suitable for smaller wedding ceremonies. It is in this room that William Wordsworth spent many hours gaining inspiration for his renowned poetry.
Banqueting Hall – The magnificent and medieval Banqueting Hall is in the oldest part of the house. This impressive 12th Century medieval hall has exposed vaulted ceiling, an oak floor from trees felled on the estate, stone window seats and a huge fireplace Gothic windows on both sides of the room offer views across the estate and into the courtyard below.
Queen Anne Dining Room – The stunning Queen Anne room with beautiful plastered ceiling, grand fireplace and tall windows overlooking the moat offers an elegant, fresh and light alternative for your civil wedding ceremony.
While your guests enjoy canapés and tipples in the manicured gardens or the glorious courtyard, have your photos taken on the lawns Wordsworth once strolled across, with their wonderful historic manor house, the backdrop to your celebrations.
The Games Room is easily converted into a bar area or dancing area and hire of their removal dance floor is available should you require this, with power supply in easy reach for any entertainment.
The guest accommodation ranges from single rooms to family spaces complete with living and dining rooms. Rooms and spaces can be configured to suit the requirements of your guests, with twin or double beds. Cots, highchairs and extra beds are available on request. There’s not a window that doesn’t frame a breathtaking view; whether it’s the rolling landscape, the ducks on the moat, the ancient courtyard or the beautiful gardens.
A huge part of Brinsop Court’s appeal is not only the dedication to modern comfort, contemporary style and luxury, but also the showcasing of all it’s wonderful originality and authenticity.
