Belchamp Hall is a Queen Anne period house of rich red brick with a front nine bays wide and of two storeys, below a cornice and solid parapet. The Hall and its’ grounds is registered under the Historic Buildings and Ancient Monuments Act 1953, within the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens by English Heritage for its special historic interest.
They are on the Suffolk / Essex border, near Sudbury. Close to Colchester, Braintree, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and just 90 minutes from London.
Belchamp Hall is a wedding venue that allows you to have the wedding of your choice. The private estate allows you to feel completely at ease, with each intimate wedding being tailored to the personal requirements of the couple. Attention to detail is of the upmost importance at Belchamp Hall, so their staff are on hand to assist you should you need any help planning your special day.
They specialise in intimate weddings for up to 50 people but, on rare occasions, they do allow much larger marquee based weddings to be held at Belchamp Hall. Either way, each wedding is bespoke to the couple.
Your civil wedding ceremony can be held in one of the stunning rooms in the Hall. Or alternatively, you could hold your ceremony in the folly within the estate ground. The beautiful St Mary’s church is also situated right opposite the main entrance to Belchamp Hall.
